Hey people! What’s up? Right now, I’m at tech club with all my friends and loving it! Here we do things like podcasting, internet-site-making, and Scratch (custom animation). My teacher is the coolest, the awsomest and all around best! And for all you book lovers out there, I’m reading a book called Indian Captive: The Story of Mary Jemison. That book is seriously ROCKS!!! Read it, now! Look for a review once I’m done!

Emily Windsnap has a secret. She’s a girl living a normal life on a boat. But she can swim like a fish, breath underwater and her legs turn into a fish tail. What is she? A mermaid. Her mom and classmates don’t know, and she’s never seen her father. When she meets another mermaid, she goes off on little adventures. When she finds out her father is in trouble with law, she goes off to save him and gets in big trouble. What will she do? Will she ever rescue her father?
You’ll have to read “The Tail of Emily Windsnap” by Liz Kessler to find out.

The Witch of Blackbird Pond January 24, 2008
I read this awesome book called ‘The Witch of Blackbird Pond’ by Elizabeth George Speare. Katherine Tyler (Kit) has to move from her Carribean home of Barbados to the cold, unwelcoming Connecticut Colony to live with people she’s never met, and who don’t even know she’s coming! Once settled in, Kit takes an instant disliking to her new life. Her Uncle Matthew has the stern ways of the Puritan religion, and his family cannot do many things, such as not being allowed to have any decoration on their clothing and they must go to church twice on Sundays. Other then that, they work. The only place Kit feels at home is the meadows. When she befriends the witch that lives there, and is accused of witchcraft herself, what will she do? Who or what will save her? “The Witch of Blackbird Pond” is an interesting book full of secrecy and suspense, with a bit of romance mixed in. I’d recomend this book to people 9-100! Make sure you check it out!!
Christmas video December 25, 2007
I love this music video. It’s “Love Comes Down at Christmas” by Jars of Clay, and is very funny.
I saw a Broadway musical March 4, 2007
Today I saw a great Broadway musical called The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee! It was really really good! I had so much fun!!!!!!!!! My mother and grandmother came with me. It was about some “kids”, played by grown-ups, who are in a spelling bee. The musical was really quite comical. I caught some candy and a dictionary card that the actors were throwing at us! It began at 2:30 and ended at 4:15. After the musical, we went to Trader Joes. While my mom, my grandma, and I were at the musical, my dad and sisters were at the Virginia Living Museum.
Oh, by the way, I’m over the flu!!!! Bye for now!!
